Tulip Privacy Knob

• Our Tulip Privacy Knob features a small turn snib on one side for internal locking of the door and a safety release function on the other side. The door can be locked and unlocked from the inside by a simple turn of the snib. They are used for internal doors to combine safety and privacy.
• DURABLE DESIGN: The sturdy construction of these XFORT door knobs allow them to be solid, strong and long-lasting. The robust design of the knobs prevent snapping and breakages which can occur with less quality mortice door knobs. The polished chrome finish adds an elegant touch to your home or office.
• These chrome door knobs feature a safety release on the outer door knob. By using the override key provided, the door can be quickly and safely unlocked from the outside in case of an emergency. These privacy knobs are not designed for use with normal keys for locking and unlocking.
• APPLICATION: These door locks can be used on internal doors of a 35mm-45mm thickness. The tubular latch is adjustable to either 60mm or 70mm (the distance from the hole centre to the door edge). They are suitable for both commercial and domestic applications.
• INSTALLATION: These chrome door handles come with fitting instructions and templates for easy installation. All fixtures and fittings are supplied including colour matched screws, tubular latch and an override key. This knob set can be used for left or right handed doors.
